We are able to supply and fit your new kitchen or we can supply only if you have your own fitters. We are also able to fit any kitchen you have purchased from another supplier. We have extensive fitting experience with all major manufacturers such as Howdens, Magnet, IKEA, B&Q etc. as well as the higher end German and Italian systems.
We use the latest kitchen design software to design your kitchen, this will give you a detailed plan and photo-realistic 3D images to view and help you see what your finished kitchen will look like.
We work with some of the UK's largest appliance distributors to bring you brand names such as Bosch, Neff, Siemens and much more at very competitive prices.
We can also provide you with various worktop options such as laminate or composite work surfaces or for a more sophisticated style we can supply and fit Corian, solid wood or stunning granite worktops.
We will take care of all the fitting, plumbing, electrics, gas work, tiling and plastering if required.

Bathroom Fitting
With extensive experience in the domestic bathroom sector we can provide you with the bathroom of your dreams. With a supply and fit service or fit only we will cater for your every need. From our initial visit we will work closely with you to establish your requirements, be it a traditional 3 or 4 piece suite or maybe no bath and a large walk in shower or maybe both we can do it all.

Joinery Work
At Oakwood Home Solutions we pride ourselves on providing a full range of joinery products and services. As well as our fitted kitchens we can also supply and fit sash and case and UPVC windows, supply and fit internal and external doors and all types of ironmongery. Internal joinery work includes replacement skirtings’ and facings, stair cases and balustrades, panels and trims, boxing in pipes and electrical meters and renovating window shutters.

Flooring
Oakwood Home Solutions provide a varied and extensive flooring service and selection. We are able to supply and fit a large range of solid or engineered HARDWOOD flooring. With oiled finishes, lacquered finishes, hand scraped and plain old unfinished ensuring there is something for every taste and budget. We can lay onto existing floor boards, chip boards flooring and concrete. With our range of stable engineered flooring under floor heating can be laid no problem.

Electrical
All our electrical work is carried out by SELECT registered approved electricians to the latest industry standards and regulations. From a complete re-wire to a socket being moved we can provide the service you require. Some of these services include - re-wires, ring mains, replacement/upgraded fuse boards and RCDs, lighting, electric shower installations, aerials and data cables. All work will be certified on completion of the job with the relevant paperwork being issued i.e. new installation or minor woks certificates.
If you are a landlord requiring HMO work to be carried out we can test and provide a Periodic Inspection Report (PIR) which is required as part of your HMO licence along with PAT testing all your electrical appliances.
Our electricians are local council (Edinburgh & Midlothian) Approved Certifiers of Construction and they can sign off any work required for building warrant approval.

Gaswork
Using only GASSAFE registered gas engineers we are able to provide a complete domestic gas and central heating service.
We can supply and fit complete central heating systems using the latest eco-friendly combination boilers and energy efficient radiators. We can also offer boiler upgrades and flue repairs. If your boiler is due a service contact us with the make and model and we will give you a competitive quote.
Our gas engineers work alongside our kitchen fitters to ensure gas ovens and hobs are installed correctly and safely. At the end of any job where our gas engineers have done work we will issue you with the relevant paperwork.
For landlords requiring HMO work done we can provide Landlords Safety Certificates for boilers, gas fires, ovens and hobs.

Roofing
As part of our building service we provide roofers who are able to carry out a wide range of roofing services including slate and tile installation/repair and work with a number of flat roof systems. They are also able to repair and replace lead and zinc roof components as well as replace facia and soffit boards, dry and wet roof verges, chimney pot repairs and pointing, guttering and rain water pipes.
