About Us

Oakwood Home Solutions are a Midlothian based multi trade home improvement company serving Edinburgh and the Lothians & specialising in luxury fitted kitchens and bathrooms.

With a wealth of experience in both the domestic and commercial building trade every tradesman is fully qualified and experienced and has worked with us for a number a years.  All our tradesmen have industry recognised qualifications with our gas engineers being GASSAFE registered and our approved electricians being SELECT registered. All our tradesmen are fully qualified, experienced and we are insured for £1,000,000.

Owner Kenny has over 15 years’ experience in the building trade covering a vast range of the home improvements sector. With over 50 years’ experience between the main members of the team, Oakwood Home Solutions are able to offer a full range of joinery services including luxury fitted kitchens and bathrooms, window and door replacement, flooring, extensions and loft conversions. We are also able to offer a full plumbing and heating service by GASSAFE registered engineers, electrical work by approved electricians to SELECT and NICEIC levels, builders, plasterers, tilers and decorators.

As well as some of our main services we are also able to offer insurance work, maintenance contracts and light commercial work including shop fitting and refurbishments.

As a small company with small overheads we are able to provide a far more competitive quote than some of our larger competitors. From start to finish you will deal directly with one person. That person will carry out the initial home visit, make an appointment to view our showroom if needed and be your point of contact for the entire job. They will do any design work required using the latest architectural or kitchen design software, provide your quote and project manage from plans to completion.
